| 1 Cup Butter--1 Cup Green Onions--3 to 4 Cloves Garlic--12 oz. Imit. Crabmeat--3/4 Cup Chablis--2 tsp. Frank's Hot Sauce--1/2 tsp. Black Pepper--1/2 tsp. Salt--1/2 tsp. White Pepper--1 1/2 Cup Italian seasnd. brd. crmb.--Approx. 2 doz. Large Mushroom Caps--2 Tbsp. Melted Butter--Paprika
Finely chop green onions. Separate and chop and chop crab. Crush garlic. Melt butter in saute pan. Add garlic & green onions. Cook until tender on medium heat. Add hot sauce, stir in crab and cook for 2 minutes. Add peppers, salt and Chablis. Cook & stir until mixture simmers. Remove from heat and mix in bread crumbs. Add Chablis or bread crumbs, if needed, for desired consistency. Salt & pepper to taste. Stuff mushroom caps. Sprinkle with paprika and pat with melted butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. |
