| 2 1/2 lbs. potatoes, peeled & cooked--1 to 1 1/2 cups sr. cream--Salt & pepper to taste--2 lbs. ground beef--1/2 cup chopped onion--1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped--1 tsp. garlic salt-- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)--1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained--1/2 cup milk--1-2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted.
Mash potatoes with sour cream. Add salt and pepper; set aside. Cook beef in a skillet with onion and red peper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender; drain. Stir garlic salt into meat mixture in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Top with mashed potatoes; drizzle with butter. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through. Yield 8 to 10 servings. |
